Steam Black Friday – Give & Get Sales on PC Games

The Steam Black Friday sale was called the Autumn Sale last year, because these major Steam Sales tend to run for several days. But make no mistake- that has not diluted the massive discounts they roll out every year around this time. If you’re into games, this Steam sale is going to feel like 3 or 4 separate Black Fridays in a row.

You’ll see games sold at a 50, 75, 90 percent discount all over Steam, as well as 25 or 30 percent off newer big budget games like Dishonored, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, or Call of Duty (Black Ops 2.)

You’ll also notice that Indie games tend to fly off the handle with the really big discounts, even when they’re new. There will usually be some kind of Indie Bundle advertised during the sale as well.

Valve basically gives you no excuse not to spend every last penny loading yourself and your friends with dozens of games.

Other / Does anyone use the forum add-ons?
« on: November 14, 2012, 03:53:46 pm »
I was wondering if anyone uses the forum add-ons. I still remember when arcade came out, we all jumped on it and started playing. Are you guys still doing that? Also, do you guys use the calender as it is really helpful for giving people presents on Minecraft for their birthdays. What are your thoughts on this?

Other / What game should I get with $20
« on: November 11, 2012, 06:09:45 pm »
I don't know what I should do with my $20.00. I wanted to buy Minecraft, Counter-Strike or any other fun multiplayer games but I don't know what to buy.  With Minecraft, I wanted a customized skin but that's all I wanted it for and to play on legit servers. But on the other hand, I can stay on cracked servers and keep playing on Kraiten. For Counter-Strike, there is a bundle at $39.99. If I decide to buy the bundle, I would want a better headset first.
From Postloop, I get $5 every three days so before Christmas, I might have over $50.00.

So I heard about Postloop. http://www.postloop.com/ Is it good? It is basically, you write posts on people's forums and get 1 point for each post. When you get 100 points, you get $5 for your paypal. Downside: People rate on your grammer, writing skills and before you can be accepted into postloop, you must qualify by writing on their forum before you can write on any other forums. They will look deeply into your grammer and are very hard to please. Upside: It's writing two to three sentences for money. You can then use this money for echo-gaming or steam games.
