Announcements / Re: Roll Call
« on: August 30, 2016, 08:28:04 pm »
  • How long have you been associated with Echo-Gaming?
Early 2012. Holy fuck time has flown by.

How often do you check the website?

Every few months, it just depends on whenever I remember eG.

What games are you currently playing / How many hours a week do you play/online?

I only play CS:GO. Play a couple of times a week for a few hours.

Are you currently involved in any gaming communities?

Nah, only play with my friends when I get on.

The nostalgia is real whenever I come on

UPDATE: I got a 31/47.5

Apparently, that isn't even MLA Citation (thanks for the site kev.....)
I'm not supposed to put "The Associated Press" for the parenthetical documentation because it's too general, when there wasn't even an author in the first place.
I forgot to put "" in #2
I fucked up the grammar (knew it before hand) but I didn't know what else to do with only 2 sentences allowed.

But on the plus side I scored higher than any AP student on my Catcher in the Rye test with a 100% :]

I'm an 11-12

I usually get them at Journey's (not sure if it's where you guys live) or Foot Locker.

Last time I tried to get shoes online they sent me a size 6 (don't remember where I got them from. maybe amazon by some shady ass nikka.)

"Echo OP is a faggot"

Sorry, no ugly asians allowed in this thread.

But thanks for the help Mike, now all I need to do is figure out parenthetical documentation of two cites supports.

Edit: We made it. Finished product for the typed page(not the one mike helped me with. pls gawd I hope I did this right):

1.
•   Website Title: The New York Times
•   Article Title: Manziel Back on Campus for Browns Scrimmage
•   Publisher: The New York Times
•   Electronically Published: August 02, 2014
•   Date Accessed: August 05, 2014
•   Author: The Associated Press
2 Johnny Manziel was back in his element: on campus, in a stadium on a Saturday.
3. And on the field, Manziel may have tightened the competition to be Cleveland's starter. (The   Associated Press 3) Manziel made some plays with his legs and rocket arm. (The Associated Press 14)
4. The author’s attitude towards the article is a very positive interest since he vividly describes the game; which you can tell in this quote:  “Cleveland's rookie quarterback, whose electrifying scrambles and how-did-he-do-that passes made him a college football superstar, showed off some of those dazzling and daring skills as the Browns took a short trip south of their training camp to scrimmage at the University of Akron's InfoCision Stadium.”
5. The author’s purpose for writing this article was to inform football fans about Johnny Manziel’s plays in the Browns Scrimmage.
6. The author’s attitude towards football is very positive by the way you can tell he describes the plays and players, while Holden doesn’t seem to take a big interest in football as seen in the following quote: "Anyway, it was the Saturday of the football game with Saxon Hall. The game with Annotateh Saxon Hall was supposed to be a very big deal around Pencey. It was the last game of the year, and you were supposed to commit suicide or something if old Pencey didn't win." However, in that quote you can tell that Holden understands people like football, so, in a way, it resembles the same reason of why the author of the article made it in the first place; because he also understands people like football.
