Technology / Re: budget gaming PC

There is a post once every few weeks of someone looking for help with a budget PC build.  Here is all I can say to those making posts like this...  If you don't know what components are good... you probably shouldn't be BUILDING a PC with the parts you're unsure of.  There are plenty of resources online, both maximumPC and LifeHacker have plenty of lists of componants for different budgets (that are updated at least quarterly, sometimes more often) that also have tutorials on PC building, and from what I can gather, you probably need to look at both.

I don't have that issue with my laptop's touch pad, if you go to control panel and then mouse it should have some gesture options for your touchpad that you can enable/disable, there might be one enabled that is doing that

I have windows 8 on two machines and enjoy it, first copy was free, second came with my new laptop, go into it with an open mind, if you expect to hate it, you're going to. If you make a real effort to get familiar with some of the new features you'll not only get used to them, you might even like some of them.

AT&T iPhone 4 jailbroken, most used apps: sbsettings, install0us, manos hand of fate(awesome game, i'd suggest getting it if you have install0us), jump desktop (remote client that lets you manipulate your PC desktop from anywhere), WinRemote (gives you the equivalent of a laptop track pad on your iPhone to control your computer, i use it when i'm watching youtube/tv/movies on my comp connected to my TV while i'm in bed)
