Personally, I think that every languages serves a purpose. What you can do in one, you can likely do in another, but sometimes it fits in the puzzle perfectly for you.

Even though most languages are really based on C, Java is probably the closest to it. It all depends on your target audience - if it's yourself, pick whatever runs the most efficiently, if it's for others, figure out how everyone can run it.

The language I code the best in: java. What I should probably learn: C#.

Java has its downfalls, but overall it can run on almost anything.

But like I said, it all depends on what your target audience is. If you, for example, want to write an efficently-spreading virus for Windows computers, you should pick someone thing has the least dependencies - in this case, C++. If you want to create a website, PHP on the server-side.

haha nice vids and yeah i know you have this thing about not admitting how java isnt the best for everything so this is a big step
